Kate Winslet opened up about the discomfort she felt while filming s#x scenes with her friend and former co-star, Leonardo DiCaprio, for the movie Revolutionary Road in 2008.
The awkwardness stemmed from the fact that her husband, Sir Sam Mendes, who was also the director of the film, was present on set during those intimate scenes.
Kate said: 'It was the element of, "OK my husband is over there." That was a bit weird.'
Despite the unusual situation, Kate's portrayal of the character April earned her a Golden Globe award in 2009, and Leonardo praised her for being a consummate professional.
It's worth noting that Kate fell in love with Sam Mendes after her first marriage to Jim Threapleton, with whom she shares a daughter named Mia, who is now 21 years old.
